Detailed Description

Create a new GPO policy set.

Parameters

Name Description Required? Pipeline Input Default Value
Name The name of the policy set. It must be unique among all policy sets. true true (ByPropertyName)  
PolicySetType The type of the policy set. Valid values are: SitePolicies, SlotPolicies, and SiteTemplate. SitePolicies specifies a policy set that stores the default policies for the site. SlotPolicies specifies a policy set that stores the policies for a configuration slot. SiteTemplate specifies a policy set that stores the site’s policy templates. true true (ByPropertyName)  
Description A short description describing the use of this policy set. false true (ByPropertyName)  
LoggingId Specifies the identifier of the high level operation that this cmdlet call forms a part of. Desktop Studio and Desktop Director typically create High Level Operations. PowerShell scripts can also wrap a series of cmdlet calls in a High Level Operation by way of the Start-LogHighLevelOperation and Stop-LogHighLevelOperation cmdlets. false false
