Creates or initializes a GPO policy set.

Syntax


Import-BrokerGpoPolicySet [-VdaBlobBytes] <Byte[]> [-IsSitePolicies] [-Description <String>] [-IsOverwrite] [-LoggingId <Guid>] [-AdminAddress <String>] [-BearerToken <String>] [-TraceParent <String>] [-TraceState <String>] [-VirtualSiteId <String>] [<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

Import-BrokerGpoPolicySet initializes the default GPO policy set for the site or creates a new GPO policy set.

Parameters

VdaBlobBytes A byte array of policy configuration data. This is typically the output of the Export-BrokerDesktopPolicy command or the Export-BrokerGpoPolicySet command. true true (ByValue)  
IsSitePolicies Indicate if the default site policy set is the target of import. false false True
Description A brief description for the new GPO policy set. If this is not specified, a brief description containing the timestamp is auto-generated. false false  
IsOverwrite Indicate if the site policy set should be overwritten if it already exists. This switch is ignored if IsSitePolicies is not present. false false True
LoggingId Specifies the identifier of the high level operation that this cmdlet call forms a part of. Desktop Studio and Desktop Director typically create High Level Operations. PowerShell scripts can also wrap a series of cmdlet calls in a High Level Operation by way of the Start-LogHighLevelOperation and Stop-LogHighLevelOperation cmdlets. false false  
AdminAddress Specifies the address of a XenDesktop controller that the PowerShell snapin will connect to. This can be provided as a host name or an IP address. false false Localhost. Once a value is provided by any cmdlet, this value will become the default.
BearerToken Specifies the bearer token assigned to the calling user false false

The configuration data as an opaque byte array.

Return Values

System.Guid

The GUID of the newly created policy set or the updated site policy set.

Notes

Import-BrokerGpoPolicySet performs a specialized operation. Use it with care. The existing GPO objects will be erased if the target of the import is the site policy set.
