What’s new
This article lists the new and enhanced features in each release of the Workspace Environment Management™ REST API service.
August 2026
The following APIs are now available for customers:
Manage backups
Query the backups of your configuration sets and settings, whether they were created manually or automatically, and delete the ones you no longer need.
- GET /services/wem/export
- DELETE /services/wem/export/multiple
Manage files in the file repository
Query the exported reports, script files, and Group Policy (ADMX) templates stored in your file repository, and delete the ones you no longer need.
- GET /services/wem/export/files
- DELETE /services/wem/export/files
For both sets of APIs, use the path value returned by the GET request to identify the items to delete.

Specifying a configuration set for overwrite during restoration
A targetSiteId parameter has been added to the configuration set import API. When this parameter is specified, the existing target configuration set is overwritten by the imported configurations. If it is not specified, a new configuration set is created from the imported configurations.
